Our People
Dane Willis – I started as an apprentice drainlayer out of school for McKay Moore Drainage in 2005. I was fortunate to have great tradesmen to learn from setting a solid standard for my work while achieving my qualifications and 2008 Drain laying apprentice of the year.
After the 2011 Canterbury earthquakes I changed over to a management role in the company with a focus on training and overseeing staff to ensure quality work and healthy relationships with our clients. Many of which we still work with today. I then transitioned into full management of the residential side of the business and enjoy working with our friendly, experienced team every day.
After 17 years of drain laying experience in Canterbury I am excited as a business partner of Selwyn Drainage Ltd. I look forward to working with our team and clients to maintain a high standard of work and reliability for years to come.
Jared Buckley – I starting in roading construction back in 2012, then made the move to McKay Moore Drainage in 2015 to start my apprenticeship. After working in the residential side of the business for almost 3 years I decided to widen my drainage knowledge and experience by moving to the Commercial/Civil side of the trade – where I became an Authorised Drainlayer for the Christchurch City Council. Learning everything I could was important to me and was made easy with the support of McKay Moore Drainage.
Now returning back to the residential side as a business partner of Selwyn Drainage Ltd, I look forward to the future and what it has instore for us.
